Michelle Doughty is a former journalist and columnist for the Financial Times and the Financial Mail on Sunday. She started out her career as a stockbroker, working for several years in the City during the Big Bang era.

Becoming a journalist and broadcaster in the media for ten years after working in the City, she has also published a best-selling guide to finance called The Joy of Money.

Michelle is also a writer; her new work includes children’s stories and fiction.
